The Grand Performance body of the GPC-X2E produces a bold and balanced tone with excellent projection, while a deep cutaway looks great and grants you easy access to higher notes. Built with a Sitka spruce top and a figured mahogany high-pressure laminate back and sides, the select hardwood neck and fingerboard provide a smooth and responsive playing experience.
Stocked with onboard Fishman MX electronics for plugging in, amplification is easy and sounds great, replicating the airy overtones the GPC-X2E while unplugged. The Performing Artist series neck also places emphasis on comfort and smooth response, and the slimmer profile of the neck allows players to keep the music flowing without hand strain.
Scalloped X-bracing adds both tonal support and sustain, as well as longevity to the structure, helping the GPC-X2E stand the test of time. The mother-of-pearl pattern inlay on the fingerboard and the multi-stripe rosette inlay around the soundhole give this instrument a touch of elegance that complements its vast tonal palette. A genuine white Corian nut and saddle not only enhance the instrument's tonal support but also contribute to its aesthetic appeal.
