Bij Dark Horse weten ze topwijnen te produceren. Het is vooral te danken aan de sublieme kwaliteit in de wijngaarden. Alles lijkt mee te zitten onder de Californische zon. Merlot saai? Absoluut niet. Een enkele slok van Dark Horse Merlot bewijst direct het tegendeel. De wijn is breed, karaktervol en een enorme smaakbom. Een wijn waar onze vinologen over kunnen blijven praten; zo lekker is deze rode wijn. Je zintuigen worden gekieteld door uitbundige aroma’s. Neem zelf een slok en ontdek de smaken. Je proeft eiken, vanille en chocolade, dankzij een subtiele houtlagering. Maar wals de rode wijn door je mond, en je ontdekt ontzettend veel fruit: bramen, pruimen, kersen en frambozen. Dog approved.

I’m a 70 lbs Goldendoodle (supposed to be 65, don’t ask) and I love cheese. Real cheese. Sharp cheddar with sourdough bread is my dream, but apparently I’m “on a health journey,” so my people bought me this instead.
Does this bone actually taste like cheese? No. I am not fooled.
Do I still enjoy chewing it loudly while my humans are trying to watch TV? Absolutely yes.
This bone satisfies my need to chew and my emotional desire for cheese-adjacent activities. It keeps me busy, saves the furniture, and lets me crunch dramatically during important dialogue scenes. The yellow color is nice — very cheese-coded — although some cheeses are white, so just something to consider for future versions.
Also, good news: it doesn’t smell like cheese at all, which my humans seem very grateful for. Apparently they don’t want the carpet to smell like a deli. Weird.
