Day Services
Provided both within the facility and throughout the community, our services are designed to provide purposeful and meaningful activities. Supports will enhance a person’s skills in the areas of vocational, recreational, personal/social, and educational. We are committed to providing opportunities for people to discover their interests, preferences, hope & dreams.
Developmental Training
Training services that concentrate on skill improvement in a variety of life areas including social, recreational, job skill development and community participation.
Site Based Employment
We provide skills training and development through site-based employment. We bring in a variety of work from businesses, manufacturers, and distributors that includes: light assembly, collating, packaging, boxing and labeling, People are matched with work that best fits their interests and skills. We are committed to providing opportunities that allow people to develop work skills that will transfer to community employment.
Alternative Day Services
A training and vocational program that is designed for people with more severe disabilities, with increased medical needs or who have reached their golden years. Those who receive these services reside in homes operated by Horizon House. Supports focus on improvement or maintenance of daily living, community participation and vocational skills.
All Together
We provide people opportunities to explore, learn and experience the community in which they live. Supports are customized to enhance each person’s ability to build a reference for future career exploration and employment. While meeting people in the community, connections are made and relationships are built.
